When the time comes to find the right home for a loved one, it can feel overwhelming. Families want to know that their loved ones are safe, cared for, and treated with dignity. At Sweet Water Manor our homes provide an intentionally intimate environment that focuses on personal care built on real relationships so your loved ones feel comfortable, supported, and truly at home.
Founded in 1994, The Alexa is the matriarch of the Sweetwater Manor family. It’s located in the Town ‘n’ Country/Carrollwood area of Tampa. Situated on more than an acre of property, The Alexa is a lakeside retreat offering a tranquil country charm making this home a favorite for those seeking to escape a busier lifestyle.
The Austin House is our second home. It was founded in 1996 and is located in the Lutz area of Tampa. The Austin is reminiscent of a bygone era. With stately antique furnishings and a Victorian charm, The Austin offers a comforting and inviting atmosphere for your loved ones to spend their retirement years.
The Abigail is the newest and grandest of our three homes. It is located in the heart of historic Hyde Park Village. With ornate furnishings, lavish decor and an antique charm, our crown jewel embodies the historic feel you would expect to find in the Hyde Park/South Tampa area.
Here’s What Families Are Saying After Choosing Sweet Water:
The Abigail took wonderful care of my mother in law during the day while I took care of my young children. I would pick her up in the evening and she would be happy and had interaction with everyone. I would not have survived without them. They were so kind and we were so grateful! I highly recommend.

Nothing can describe the sense of relief our family felt after placing my mother in a beautiful and safe place, staffed by truly incredible people: from administrators and nurses, to aides and caretakers, we are deeply grateful for the care my mother received while carrying out her remaining year.
- Susan
I can never thank you enough for the care my father received while with you. The overall commitment of your staff, the general interest in engaging my dad, and the dignity he received were unparalleled. Thank you again.
